Undisputed, Skip Bayless’ morning debate show returned to the airwaves on Monday morning after a Summer hiatus. The show had previously lost its longtime co-host, Shannon Sharpe. On the debut episode, Keyshawn Johnson, Michael Irvin, and Richard Sherman joined Bayless. However, the discussion was a bit chaotic as Bayless could barely speak.
Fortunately, Wayne will once again perform the theme song for the show. His voice has become synonymous with the program, making it fitting for him to do it. The new theme song, “Good Morning,” is a fresh interpretation of the show’s introduction. It’s possible that fans may actually prefer this new version, as it has an extended verse and Wayne seems more energetic. This could be a sign of what’s to come for the show, as notable figures like Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson, and Michael Irvin are all contributing to this new venture.
At one point, Irvin even apologized for talking too much, saying, “I’m sorry, I haven’t been on TV in a while, I don’t mean to take over nothing, but I hadn’t worked in a long time.” Despite this, the show’s highlight was a brand new theme song titled ‘Good Morning,’ provided by Skip’s longtime friend, Lil Wayne. The song also received a visual treatment featuring a cameo by Skip himself. Check it out below.
