Superbloom, Velvet Hippo Download MP3
Superbloom, the Brooklyn-based grunge revivalists, released their 11-song EP “Life’s A Blur” a few months ago. Although it has 11 songs, they classify it as an EP.
Their newly released standalone single, “Velvet Hippo,” is a big, churning riffer that boasts sweet harmonies on the chorus. The lead vocals are a bit surly, preventing it from reaching Siamese Dream territory, but the music is definitely on the edge. Take a listen to “Velvet Hippo” below.
