During an interview with Consequence, he spoke about his latest single, “3D,” featuring Jack Harlow. He chose this one among many songs he received because he liked it naturally.
The song has a nostalgic feel with Jung Kook’s whispered refrains and leveled harmonies, while Jack Harlow’s feature adds a modern touch.
Although they could not record the song together, they met on the music video set and had a great time. Jung Kook loves to try new things and is incredibly hardworking, so he’s currently rehearsing for a headlining set at New York’s Global Citizen Festival.
Jung Kook’s latest singles in 2023, “Seven” feat. Latto and “3D” are both in English, and they explore more mature themes. He’s not worried about how fans will react to his new direction, as he trusts the diversity of his fanbase.
He acknowledges that his solo projects differ from BTS songs because they only reflect his unique color. When asked which of his bandmates heard “3D,” he blushes and reveals that SUGA and RM are the only ones who have listened to it. They said he’s a proper pop star, which he finds amusing.
