Aesop Rock’s “By The River” Download MP3

Hip-hop’s birthplace has a lot to celebrate this year as it marks 50 years since the genre’s inception. Over the past five decades, many artists from all over New York have come and gone.

However, Aesop Rock, born in Long Island, remains a strong force in the industry. Since his debut album, Appleseed, in 1999, he has continued to produce some of the best and most unique material in hip-hop. Aesop has created 14 different projects, with a few instrumental and deluxe editions of some of his records. His 15th album, Integrated Tech Solutions or ITS, will be released on November 10.

His latest single, “Mindful Solutionism,” released a few weeks ago, gives us an idea of what we can expect from the new album. The track takes us through the evolution of technology throughout the history of our species. Another new single, “By The River,” focuses on the importance of water systems. However, the core meaning of the track is simply about how much Aesop enjoys rivers.
