2 Chainz and Lil Wayne are teaming up again to release their second collaborative album, Welcome 2 ColleGrove, next month.
The album is a sequel to their first collaborative album, ColleGrove, released in 2016. The upcoming album was announced by 2 Chainz recently, and it appears to be solid this time.
To add to the excitement, the duo dropped a new single titled “Pressure” (also known as “Presha”) on the same day as the announcement.
The first collaborative album between 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, ColleGrove, was released during Lil Wayne’s prolonged legal battle with Cash Money Records, which prevented him from releasing his long-awaited album Tha Carter V.
The album was technically a 2 Chainz LP since Wayne wasn’t legally allowed to release any albums then. However, it was a full-on 2 Chainz/Lil Wayne team-up that everyone enjoyed. Welcome 2 ColleGrove is produced by Bangladesh, best known for producing Wayne’s generational classic “A Milli.”
