Angie McMahon’s “Light, Dark, Light Again” Album Download Leak MP3 ZIP Files

Angie McMahon, the Australian singer-songwriter, is all set to release her sophomore album titled “Light, Dark, Light Again” on October 27 via AWAL.

The album features her latest single, “Letting Go,” a preview of the album. This album follows her debut, Salt, released in 2019.

The album has been co-produced by McMahon and Brad Cook and recorded in Melbourne and Regional Victoria, as well as Durham, NC. Leif Vollebekk and Bon Iver drummers Matt McCaughan and Phil Cook played for the studio band in the album.

“Letting Go” is the latest single from the album, described as a rollicking new single by McMahon herself. She says, “It’s a place to keep the necessary lessons. Reminders to go easy and gentle, be imperfect, and let things leave.

The learning is never-ending. I’m always remembering to release what my brain clings to — thoughts, people, safe zones — and land in the present moment. It’s so hard for me to do, and then such a euphoric relief when it happens, so that’s what we tried to capture in the recording. I hope someone screams ‘Letting Go’ in the car on an open road somewhere.”

In a recent interview with Nylon, McMahon revealed that Light, Dark, Light Again is more band-oriented than her previous album and was influenced by Florence and the Machine’s latest re, “Dance F.” er.” She took much of its feelings and sounds as an inspiration for her album. McMahon also expressed her desire to create a space where one can be feral and express everything out of their body, just like Welch’s live shows, a bare-foot catharsis for both the singer and audience.
