Lowertown’s “Skin of My Teeth” EP/Album Download Leak MP3 ZIP Files
Lowertown will release its new EP, ‘Skin of My Teeth,’ on October 27th.
The EP comes after their 2019 debut album ‘I Love To Lie’ amid their East Coast Headline tour.
The first single from the EP, ‘Bline,’ has been released, and a music video featuring bandmates Olivia Osby and Avsha Weinberg wearing creepy rubber masks.
The song was inspired by Olivia’s memories of moving to New York and London at 18 and 20, and an uneasy bassline accompanies her melancholy vocals. After three albums, the four-track EP marks Lowertown’s first independent project since their debut.
Olivia has reflected on the transition and said, “Things are going to be just a little bit different with how we approach music—this is the first time in our lives where we feel a little bit settled in and self-assured. As musicians, and just in life generally. We feel like we don’t have to prove ourselves as much.”

Lowertown will perform at Baby’s All Right in New York tonight before heading to Europe next month to support Wednesday on their tour. The Atlanta-based band comprises Olivia O. and Avsha the Awesome, who became close friends in high school due to their shared interest in music.
Inspired by The White Stripes’ two-person band aesthetic, they realized that their different styles of music worked well together. Their music is a blend of electronic and lo-fi instrumentation that complements their candid, punchy vocals and melancholy lyrics.
