Busta Rhymes has recently announced the release of his upcoming album called “Blockbusta.”

The album is set to drop on November 24, 2023, and will feature Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, and Pharrell as executive producers. In a teaser trailer posted on social media, Busta Rhymes can be seen introducing his album to the legendary producers on a Zoom call.

The one-minute-long trailer also features Timbaland expressing his gratitude for being a part of Busta’s legacy, Pharrell commenting on how the new album will make people feel illuminated, and Swizz Beatz referring to himself as “the student,” and Pharrell and Timbaland as “the pharaoh” and “the king” respectively. The trailer concludes with the album’s title appearing from the lava of a volcanic eruption.

Busta Rhymes has already released two singles from the album, “Beach Ball” featuring BIA and “Luxury Life” with Coi Leray. Although the complete list of featured artists is yet to be disclosed, a closer inspection of the LP on Apple Music shows that a track called “Ok” featuring Young Thug is set to appear on the album.

Mike Amiri has designed the album’s artwork. The album is Busta’s tenth solo album and is the follow-up to his 2020 effort “Extinction Level Event 2: Wrath of God”. The latter album featured guest verses from renowned artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and more.
