Rising country artist Shaboozey seemingly tried to shoot his shot with Latto by promoting his upcoming single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”, the second track on his upcoming album “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going“.
Earlier today, an X account seemingly belonging to rising country artist Shaboozey, whose real name is Collins Chibueze, posted a simple greeting to Atlanta rapper Latto. In the post, the 28-year-old Shaboozey wrote “Hiii” above an image of Latto. Although the post seemed innocent enough, many people took it as a hint that Shaboozey is interested in getting to know Latto on a more personal level.
For those who may not be familiar, Shaboozey is one of the up-and-coming black music artists featured on Beyoncé’s newly released album, “Cowboy Carter.” Besides his own music, you can also hear him on Beyoncé tracks “Spaghettii” and “Sweet/Honey/Buckiin’.”
However, within minutes of posting the message to Latto, the replies were filled with people informing Shaboozey that Latto, whose real name is Alyssa Stephens, is already in a relationship. Responding to one internet user who noted that the 25-year-old hasn’t been single “for a minute,” the Shaboozey account questioned.
It’s worth noting that Shaboozey also promoted his upcoming single “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which is track 2 on his upcoming album, “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going.”
