Her breakthrough single “Dance Monkey” topped the charts in over 30 countries, including Australia. In 2019–20, “Dance Monkey” spent 24 weeks at number one on the Australian singles chart, surpassing Bing Crosby’s record for “White Christmas,” which held the top spot for 22 weeks in 1943. By June 2023, “Dance Monkey” had been certified 19× platinum by ARIA for shipping over 1,330,000 units.
Tones and I was the most awarded artist at the ARIA Music Awards of 2019, winning four out of eight nominations.
