DARK TRANQUILLITY has announced a new album titled “Endtime Signals.” The upcoming album from the Swedish melodic death metal band serves as the follow-up to 2020’s “Moment” and is set to be released in August this year through Century Media Records.
In addition to the album announcement, the band has also unveiled a new song from the upcoming album called “Not Nothing.”
Regarding the new song, vocalist Mikael Stanne stated, “Finally, we can announce that the pre-orders for ‘Endtime Signals’ start today! And to mark this monumental occasion, we also have a brand new single for you fine folks. ‘Not Nothing’ is an existential piece of ‘Endtime Signals’ that we feel showcases some of the diversity that the album holds. Turn up the volume and let us know what you think!”
“Endtime Signals” marks the thirteenth studio album of the band and their tenth album collaboration with Century Media Records. The band is set to build upon the success of previous releases such as “Atoma” (2016), which reached No. 2 on the Swedish album charts, and “Moment” (2020), which earned the band a Swedish Grammis award. They aim to continue redefining and delivering a top-tier musical experience with “Endtime Signals.”

About Artist:
Swedish melodic death metal group Dark Tranquillity hails from Gothenburg. Regarded as one of the forerunners of the Gothenburg metal scene, they were filmed in their hometown in April 2009 for the Century Media documentary Out of Nothing: A DT Documentary, which also features bands like In Flames and At the Gates, who are revered as the Gothenburg fathers. With four founding members that collaborated for nearly three decades, the original lineup consisted of only vocalist Mikael Stanne and longtime keyboardist Martin Brändström between 2016 and 2021.
Under the name Septic Broiler, guitarist Niklas Sundin and current vocalist Mikael Stanne established Dark Tranquillity in 1989. Three more participants, Anders Jivarp and Martin Henriksson, later joined the line-up.
