The Kid Laroi, whose real name is Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, is an Australian rapper, singer, and songwriter. He first gained attention for his connection with American rapper Juice Wrld, whom he met during Wrld’s tour in Australia. As his fan base grew, he signed with Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions in collaboration with Columbia Records.

In November, Kid Laroi‘s rescheduled tour will visit arenas across Australia. This seven-city, eight-date tour starts on Monday, November 11 at Gold Coast Home Of The Arts, then moves on to Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, and concludes on November 29 and 30 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.

Migos founding member Quavo and controversial west Sydney drill unit OneFour will join the singer and rapper on the tour.

This tour replaces a previous plan for a stadium visit across Australia and New Zealand scheduled for February 2024, which was later canceled.

The First Time Australia Tour will support Laroi’s debut full-length LP, which shares the same name. The album was released on November 10 through Columbia/Sony Music and debuted at No. 3 on the national ARIA Chart. One of the album tracks, “Girls,” recently received the inaugural Australian Chart #1 Award for its success on the Australian charts.

On November 20, 2023, just ten days after the release of THE FIRST TIME, The Kid LAROI confirmed that a deluxe version would be released.

The lead single “GIRLS” was released on June 28, 2024, following months of work on the deluxe version. Less than two weeks later, he announced the deluxe version’s planned release in July.

Although the deluxe version was initially intended for release in July, clearance for samples delayed it to its eventual release date of August 9, 2024, as announced on August 6. The Deluxe version of the album will include an additional five tracks.

About Artist:

Rapper, singer, and writer Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard (born August 17, 2003), better known by his stage name Kid LAROI, is an Australian. Howard gained notoriety initially through his friendship with American rapper Juice Wrld, whom he had met while on tour in Australia. He signed with Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions, a joint venture with Columbia Records, as his fan base grew. His 2021 single “Stay” (with Justin Bieber) achieved the highest level of mainstream acclaim for him. It topped charts in multiple countries, including Australia, the Canadian Hot 100, and the Billboard Hot 100.

He became the youngest Australian solo performer to reach the top of the ARIA Charts with his debut mixtape, F*ck Love (2020), and the US Billboard 200. It led to two commercial re-issues: the first, F*ck Love (Savage), produced his first hit single, “Without You,” which reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 after being remixed with American singer Miley Cyrus. The second, F*ck Love: Over You (2021), produced the song “Stay.” With the help of the singles “Love Again” and “Too Much” (with Jungkook and Central Cee), he released his debut studio album, The First Time (2023), to a mediocre degree of critical and commercial acclaim. Howard says he likes to do both pop and hip-hop music, not just one genre.
