About Artist:

Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (born December 18, 1975) is an Australian singer-songwriter. Born and reared in Adelaide, she began her career as a singer with the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s. Crisp disbanded in 1997, and she released her debut studio album, OnlySee, in Australia. Sia relocated to London and performed vocals for the British group Zero 7. Her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, was released in 2001, followed by her third, Colour the Small One, in 2004.

Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and toured the US. Her fourth and fifth studio albums, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, were released in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Both were certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association and received more attention than her previous albums. Uncomfortable with her growing reputation, she took a break from performing and focused on songwriting for other artists, releasing hit collaborations such as “Titanium” (with David Guetta), “Diamonds” (for Rihanna), “Wild Ones” (with Flo Rida), and “Pretty Hurts” (for Beyoncé).

Sia made her solo recording debut in 2014 with her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and produced the top-ten hit “Chandelier” as well as a trilogy of music videos co-directed by her and starring child dancer Maddie Ziegler. To safeguard her privacy, she has usually worn a wig that covers her face. Sia’s seventh studio album, This Is Acting (2016), produced her first Billboard Hot 100 number-one song, “Cheap Thrills”.
