J Balvin’s “Rayo” Album Download ZIP & MP3 Free Files

 

J Balvin is set to release his first album in nearly three years. The Colombian singer and rapper announced his new album, “Rayo,” which is the follow-up to 2021’s “Jose,” and it will be released on August 9. The album features collaborations with a lineup of Latin all-stars, including Feid, Bad Gyal, Chencho Corleone, Carin León, Ryan Castro, and Blessd, among others.

To coincide with the album announcement, Balvin has released his second single from the project titled “Gaga,” produced by Keityn and L.e.x.v.z. For this track, Balvin collaborated with Spanish singer Saiko, and the song comes with a music video directed by Jean Lafleur and shot in London.

In a message posted in Spanish, Balvin wrote, “Family!! Like I promised, the release of ‘Gaga’ came with the official announcement of the new album… Now, it’s Balvin time.” The message closed with a lightning bolt emoji, which seems to be the emblem of the album, given that “Rayo” translates to lightning bolt.

According to a press release, “Rayo” is described as the soundtrack to a house party. “Gaga” and the album’s first single featuring Chencho Corleone, “Polvo de tu Vida,” are EDM-infused and mark somewhat of a departure from Balvin‘s signature reggaeton sound. The album is said to blend urban styles with a strong emphasis on electronic pop.

“Rayo” is “the embodiment of community, and listening through feels like a glimpse into what Balvin’s ideal playlist would sound like, with music’s biggest names mingling with tomorrow’s superstars,” according to an official statement.

About Artist:

J Balvin (born May 7, 1985) is a Colombian singer. He is known as the “Prince of Reggaeton” (from Spanish: “Príncipe del Reguetón”) and is a best-selling Latin singer with over 35 million records sold globally. Balvin was born in Medellin. At the age of 17, he came to the United States to study English, where he lived in Oklahoma and New York. After moving back to Medellín, he became well-known for his performances at local bars.

Balvin has won eleven Billboard Latin Music Awards, six Latin Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, and seven Latin American Music Awards, as well as four Grammy nominations. In 2017, the BMI Latin Awards honored him the Contemporary Latin Songwriter of the Year for his contributions to the Latin music industry, and he received the first Global Icon Award from Lo Nuestro Awards in appreciation of his efforts to disseminate Latin music around the world. He was the first Latino to headline world music festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Lollapalooza. Guinness World Records recognised him as a “leader of a second-generation reggaeton revolution”.
