Post Malone has been steadily previewing new music from his upcoming country album F-1 Trillion, which is set to be released on Aug. 16. In the past few weeks, he has also been collaborating with various country artists. He recently achieved a six-week No. 1 hit on Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 with the song “I Had Some Help,” a collaboration with Morgan Wallen, and worked with Blake Shelton on the track “Pour Me a Drink.”
Now, Post Malone and two-time CMA entertainer of the year winner Luke Combs are gearing up to release a new collaboration called “Guy for That” on Friday, July 26.
Post Malone initially teased a snippet of the song on social media in February. More recently, he and Combs surprised fans by filming what seemed to be parts of a music video for the song. In a video, Post Malone and Combs were seen performing together on a flatbed trailer, wearing a hat with “Dolly Parton Fan Club” written on it, as they made their way through downtown Nashville’s Broadway.
Additionally, Post Malone partnered with Bud Light for “A Night in Nashville,” an intimate concert held at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works. At the event, Post Malone not only welcomed Shelton but also Joe Nichols, HARDY, and Sierra Ferrell, offering a preview of more new music. This included a rendition of “Never Love Again” with Ferrell, “Would You Hide My Gun” with HARDY, and a new solo song dedicated to his daughter called “Yours.”
Furthermore, Post Malone performed alongside Shelton during CMA Fest in June and participated in a songwriters’ round at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe with Lainey Wilson, Ashley Gorley, and Ernest in June.
