Tommy Richman, born on March 21, 2000, is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. He gained fame with his 2024 single “Million Dollar Baby,” which gained popularity after snippets were shared on TikTok. The song debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
Richman started releasing music on SoundCloud and Spotify in 2016 with his debut song “Ballin’ Stalin.” He continued to release singles and EPs spanning various genres such as R&B and punk rock. In 2022, he released his first EP, “Paycheck,” and in 2023, he was signed to Brent Faiyaz’s independent record label ISO Supremacy in partnership with Pulse Records. He also opened for Faiyaz’s tour and appeared in Faiyaz’s track “Upset.”
In April 2024, Richman teased his upcoming single “Million Dollar Baby” on TikTok, which garnered millions of views. The song was released on April 26, 2024, and quickly received 38 million streams, debuting at number 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
Richman announced that his first full-length album, “Coyote,” was in the works. The album is expected to include “Million Dollar Baby” and a new track called “DEVIL IS A LIE.” He unveiled “DEVIL IS A LIE” on Instagram, and the track had already gone viral after being teased on TikTok.
The retro two-minute track “DEVIL IS A LIE” draws comparisons to the early sounds of The Neptunes and comes with a nostalgic visual.
