The music video for “Death Note” was directed by Cole Bennett. In February 2018, he self-released his debut collaborative EP, “Big Bad Gnar Shit,” with rapper Germ. He followed this with his debut mixtape, “GNAR Lif3,” in September 2018, which includes guest appearances from Lil Skies, Travis Barker, IDK, and ZillaKami. Gnar then released his second mixtape, “FIRE HAZARD”, in September 2019, featuring collaborations with YBN Nahmir, Thouxanbanfauni, Lil Yachty, Craig Xen, Lil Skies, Germ, UnoTheActivist, Robb Banks, Tyla Yaweh, and Lil Tracy.

Lil Gnar’s latest track, “Pleads,” featuring Chief Keef and Nardo Wick, presents an intense collaboration characterized by raw verses and gritty production that suits all three rappers. The allure of the single lies in the synergy between Gnar‘s charismatic delivery, Chief Keef’s distinctive Chicago sound, and Nardo Wick’s darker tone, making it a standout track in Gnar’s recent releases. Released on October 30, 2024, this song is already gaining traction in the hip-hop community for its haunting beat and catchy hooks, adding another hit to Lil Gnar’s discography.

Each artist contributes their unique style: Chief Keef’s verses showcase his signature drill style, while Nardo Wick’s lines maintain an ominous edge, consistent with his known darker persona. Fans of these rappers are likely to appreciate how “Pleads” combines their strengths, providing a fresh twist to Lil Gnar‘s collection.
