Rollie Pemberton, the rapper and producer has announced that a new album from Cadence Weapon called “Rollercoaster” will be released on April 19 through MNRK Music Group.
The album features collaborations with various producers, including Grandtheft, Loraine James, Bartees Strange, Jacques Greene, Machinedrum, Martyn Bootyspoon, and more. Cadence Weapon’s latest album comes after “Parallel World,” which won the 2021 Polaris Music Prize. You can watch the music video for the Grandtheft-produced single “Press Eject”

About Cadence Weapon
Roland “Rollie” Pemberton, who is better known by his stage name Cadence Weapon, is a rapper from Canada and America who is based in Toronto, Ontario. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Pemberton released his first album titled Breaking Kayfabe in 2005, which received positive reviews.
He later signed with the American record label ANTI- and released two more albums, Afterparty Babies in 2008 and Hope in Dirt City in 2012. In 2009, Cadence Weapon was named Edmonton’s Poet Laureate. He also wrote his first book, Magnetic Days, which was published by Metatron in 2014.
