About Artist:
James Edward Johnson IV, born on June 6, 2000, is an American rapper known professionally as BabyTron. He is a member of the rap group ShittyBoyz and was born and raised in Ypsilanti, Michigan, located in Metro Detroit. BabyTron gained prominence with the release of his 2019 mixtape, “BIN Reaper”, which featured the viral song “Jesus Shuttleworth.”
In 2020, BabyTron released his studio album, “MegaTron.” That same year, he also launched the mixtapes “Lewis & Clark” and “Dookie Brothers 2”, collaborating with TrDee. He continued his mixtape series with “BIN Reaper 2” in 2021, followed by “BIN Reaper 3: Old Testament” in 2022 and “BIN Reaper 3: New Testament” in 2023. In 2024, he released a collaborative mixtape titled “Mario & Luigi” with artist Certified Trapper.
On June 14, 2022, BabyTron was named part of the XXL Freshman Class, where he participated in a freestyle rap cypher. In 2024, he was featured on the song “Equilibrium” alongside G Herbo for Lyrical Lemonade’s album “All Is Yellow”. Additionally, he appeared with Big Sean on Eminem’s song “Tobey,” which was the second single from Eminem’s album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)”.
