Asake – Fuji Vibe Download MP3 Free Files

The last track on Asake‘s upcoming album “Lungu Boy” is “Fuji Vibe.” Fújì is a popular Yoruba musical genre that originated from the improvisational wéré music, also known as ajísari. This genre of music was performed to wake Muslims before dawn during the Ramadan fasting season. Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister popularized wéré music during the 1950s and 60s and conceived the term “fújì” in an unusual way. According to Barrister, he came up with the term when he saw a poster at an airport advertising Mount Fuji, which is the highest peak in Japan. It’s important to note that “fújì” should not be confused with the Yorùbá words “fuja” or “faaji,” which mean leisure or enjoyment.

Ahmed Ololade, known professionally as Asake, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is signed to YBNL Nation and Empire Distribution. His stage name is “Asake,” which is his mother’s name. For the third consecutive year, Asake is releasing a new album. The Nigerian afrobeats star took to his social media pages to announce his third album, Lungu Boy. The project is the highly anticipated follow-up to his beloved first two albums, Mr. Money With The Vibe and Work Of Art. The announcement confirmed that the album will arrive on August 9 along with 15 songs and features from Wizkid, Travis Scott, Stormzy, Central Cee, and Ludmilla.

Asake’s rollout for Lungu Boy has been a bit quieter compared to other albums, but there’s plenty to be excited about going forward. “Wave” with Central Cee, the album’s lead single, has upheld the project’s excitement, while a tour following the release is sure to make the album the talk of afrobeats for some time. Asake announced the Lungu Boy World Tour back in June, and it’s set to kick off on August 16 in Washington, DC, and conclude on October 6 in Australia.
