Babyface Ray is an American recording artist from Detroit. His debut album, FACE, features collaborations with famous artists like Pusha T, Yung Lean, and Wiz Khalifa.
Ray became a member of Team Eastside in 2010, collaborating with fellow Detroit rapper Peezy. In 2015, his debut mixtape MIA Season gained popularity, and in 2017, he released his mixtape Ghetto Wave. His second mixtape, MIA Season 2, a sequel to his first, was released in 2019. Recently, in February 2021, Ray dropped his first EP, Unfuckwitable, featuring appearances from EST Gee, Moneybagg Yo, and Kash Doll. The EP debuted at number 128 on the Billboard 200 chart dated February 27, 2021.
A single titled “It Ain’t My Fault” featuring rapper Big Sean was released by him in August 2021. Ray’s debut album, Face, was released in January 2022 and featured appearances from G Herbo, Pusha T, Wiz Khalifa, and more. The album peaked at number 31 on the Billboard 200 and number two on the Independent Albums chart. In 2022, Ray was part of the 2022 XXL Freshman class and appeared alongside rappers BabyTron, Cochise, and Kali in the cipher.
