Benny The Butcher has surprised his fans by announcing a second LP for the year, with another release planned for 2024. This follows his earlier 2021 release “Everybody Can’t Go,” which came out in January and features appearances from artists such as Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg.

The album has received praise for its sharp beats, eloquent instrumentation, and Benny’s craftiness with words. The Griselda MC seems to be staying true to his niche in the current hip-hop landscape, and fans are eagerly anticipating his upcoming releases.

About Artist:

American rapper and composer Jeremie Damon Pennick, better known by his stage name Benny the Butcher or just Benny, was born on November 27, 1984. With the release of his debut album, Tana Talk 3, he rose to fame in 2018. He is recognized for his rap songs from the 1990s and is frequently credited with spearheading a resurgence of the so-called “grimy” and “gritty” hip hop genre, which was influenced by mafioso and drug dealing themes. He forms the collective Griselda with his cousins and fellow rappers Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine.

He continued to deal drugs for a considerable amount of his early life, even after being signed at the age of 15. After his brother Machine Gun Blak passed away, Pennick put out a number of mixtapes and joint albums. The albums Tana Talk 4, Burden of Proof, Butcher on Steroids, and The Plugs I Met are among his most well-known and frequently referenced works.

Pennick frequently discusses his challenges and encounters as a young drug dealer in Buffalo, New York, in his songs. Critics and peers have commended him for his sound design and storytelling prowess.

Raised by a single mother, Pennick was the second oldest of eight siblings when she was born on November 27, 1984. He was raised in Buffalo, New York, on Montana Avenue during his formative years. Despite seeing his mother battle addiction, Pennick began dealing heroin at the age of 14 because of the high percentage of youth poverty in the neighborhood.
