Two Louisiana-born rappers, collaborators, and close friends, Boosie Badazz and B.G., have released a new track titled “BG Free / My Dawg” to celebrate B.G.’s release from prison.
B.G. had been sentenced to 13 years in prison on charges of witness tampering and illegal gun possession in 2009. He was released in early September, and Boosie was overjoyed to reunite with his friend finally.
Boosie had teased the new song a few days before its release on Instagram Live, where both rappers expressed their love and appreciation for each other. Boosie had been a constant support for B.G. during his time behind bars, and B.G. expressed his respect and gratitude for Boosie in the lyrics of the song.

The track has already received a lot of love from listeners and marks the beginning of B.G.’s renewed focus on his music career.
