Cassadee Pope has announced the release of a deluxe edition of her latest album, Hereditary. This deluxe edition will include a new single called “Bad Decisions.” The song reflects on life’s unexpected twists and turns and encourages listeners to find meaning in everyday experiences. It aligns with the theme of her coming-of-age record, emphasizing the importance of embracing our pasts and personal stories.
As the former lead vocalist of Hey Monday, Cassadee Pope returns to her pop-punk roots with Hereditary, her first full-length album following her country music phase. The album takes listeners through the highs and lows of life, love, and self-discovery, addressing themes like love, betrayal, and family dynamics that shape our lives.
“I wanted to release a deluxe version of Hereditary because there were other songs I wrote that didn’t make the album but feel important to tell my story. I look at these songs like bonus scenes at the end of movie credits. They help round out the story but give it a place to go,” Pope shares.
Cassadee Pope recently completed her successful U.S. Headlining Hereditary Tour and will be joining Canadian pop-rock band Marianas Trench for a North American tour starting in September. At the shows, fans can purchase limited deluxe album vinyls, available in black or clear pink and signed by Cassadee herself.
