Ciara and Chris Brown team up for a mobile house party in their music video for “How We Roll”.
The video starts with Ciara and Chris inviting each other to their respective parties, and they decide to compete to see who throws the better party. They then perform the laidback R&B song, with Ciara wearing an all-black outfit and Chris Brown donning a scarlet and white varsity jacket, similar to his look in the “Kiss Kiss” music video.
During the bridge, Ciara and Chris engage in a dance number, showcasing their Michael and Janet Jackson influence. The video then shifts to a shared house party, where they dance with backup dancers. “How We Roll” celebrates having a good time on a beautiful summer day and loving your significant other, with Ciara showing love to her husband, Russell Wilson.
The song is the lead single from Ciara’s upcoming EP, also titled “CiCi“, which will be released on her Beauty Marks Entertainment label on August 18, 2023. Her previous album “Beauty Marks”, released independently in 2019, featured guest appearances from Macklemore, Kelly Rowland and others.
