The Above is the fifth studio album of Code Orange, an American hardcore punk band. The album is set to be released on September 29, 2023, through Blue Grape Music. It is the band’s first album to be entirely self-produced and also their first album with the label Blue Grape Music.
Code Orange, a hardcore band known for their provocative music, have revealed the details of their upcoming album, The Above. The album is set to be released on September 29th via Blue Grape Music and will be their first studio album since their 5K-rated 2020 album, Underneath.
This announcement comes after the band’s recent remix album. In anticipation of the album’s release, the band has released a new video for the song Take Shape, featuring guest vocals from Smashing Pumpkins’ frontman, Billy Corgan. The video follows the release of two singles, The Game and Grooming My Replacement.
Code Orange is a metalcore band from Pittsburgh that formed in 2008 while its members were still in high school.
