EXO member Kyungsoo has announced that he will be releasing his third EP, titled “Blossom,” on May 7th.
This marks the K-pop star’s solo comeback, following his debut extended play, “Empathy,” which was released in 2021. Kyungsoo’s previous two mini-albums, “Expectations” and “Empathy,” have received acclaim from fans and critics, with both albums showcasing the singer’s personal music style and telling a cohesive story.
“Expectations,” which was released in 2023, explored themes of love and loss, taking the listener on a journey through the protagonist’s experiences of falling in love and dealing with heartbreak. The album sold over 211,630 physical copies and peaked at number three on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart, with the title track “Somebody” receiving over 8 million views on YouTube.
Kyungsoo’s solo music has earned him numerous awards and nominations, including the Male Solo Artist Award at the 2021 Hanteo Music Awards. Meanwhile, his K-pop group EXO recently celebrated its 12th anniversary, and will be holding a fan meeting on April 14th to commemorate their decade-long career. Although Kai and Sehun will not be able to attend the concert due to their military service, other members of the group, including Kyungsoo, will be in attendance.

Doh Kyung-soo, born on January 12, 1993, is a famous South Korean singer and actor. He is known by his stage name D.O. and is a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group, Exo.
Apart from his group’s activities, D.O. has also acted in various television dramas and movies such as Pure Love (2016), My Annoying Brother (2016), Be Positive (2016), Room No.7 (2017), 100 Days My Prince (2018), Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds, Swing Kids (2018), Bad Prosecutor (2022), and The Moon (2023).
