Last week at Spotify House during CMA Fest, Danielle Bradbery announced to her fans that she will be releasing a new album, Danielle, which marks her first independent project. This album will be her first in over six years and is scheduled for release on September 6. The album will take listeners on an emotional journey, exploring themes of heartbreak and healing as Bradbery reflects on the trials of a broken relationship and the subsequent emotional growth.
Bradbery expressed that this album is a true representation of the woman she has become. Throughout the recording process, she aimed to not only share her personal story but also her love for a variety of musical styles that have inspired her. She described the album as a journey reflecting heartbreaking and angry moments while also embodying the creative freedom that grounds the entire work. Bradbery hopes that the album will evoke a range of emotions in its listeners and empower them by making them feel seen and understood on a personal level.
In addition to the album announcement, Bradbery has released her latest track, “Broken Boy,” which delves into the theme of distorted expectations about love and the acceptance of emotional vulnerabilities. This track is featured in Danielle and follows another recently released track, “Wedding or a Funeral.”
