About Artist:
Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, born on March 13, 2000, is professionally known as Fave. She is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and recording artist who gained recognition for her short videos on Twitter during the COVID-19 lockdown. In 2022, Fave won the Rookie of the Year award at The Headies and received nominations for Most Promising Artist and Best Artist in African Reggae and Dancehall at the All Africa Music Awards. Additionally, she was nominated for Best New Artiste at the 2022 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival.
Fave, as the only daughter and middle child in a family of five, has lived in both eastern and southwestern Nigeria over the past two decades. Her musical journey began at the church when she was just six years old. Before rising to fame in 2020, Fave was a 19-year-old singer-songwriter who also pursued a law degree. At that time, she had released only one single, titled “M.O.M.M.S,” which stands for “Me or Mask My Sins.” She is currently in her final year of studying Law at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
