Gus Dapperton’s ‘Henge’ shines a light on the complexities of the human condition.

In the fall of 2020, after an all-night adventure in New York City, Gus Dapperton alighted from the train in Brooklyn and was greeted by the radiant sun rising over the towering skyscrapers. Without knowing why, he began to sprint, igniting a curiosity to explore the depths of his being.

Gus Dapperton, whose real name is Brendan Patrick Rice, and born on March 11, 1997, is an acclaimed singer-songwriter from Warwick, New York. With his band, including his sister Amadelle and his lifelong friends Yendawg and Tommy Sibilla, he has been making a name for himself in the music industry.

Dapperton’s journey into music began in eighth grade when he won a songwriting contest. He released his first single, “Moodna, Once With Grace,” 2016. His popularity skyrocketed after his singles “I’m Just Snacking” and “Prune, You Talk Funny” went viral on YouTube in 2017.
