James Blunt’s “Who We Used To Be” (Deluxe) Album Download Leak MP3 ZIP Files
James Blunt, the English singer, songwriter, and musician, has recently released a new single titled “Beside You,” which will be a part of his seventh studio album, “Who We Used to Be.”
The album, set to release on October 27 through Atlantic Records, includes ten tracks, and “Beside You” is its lead single.
In a press release on August 5, Blunt shared the news of his new album’s departure and the simultaneous arrival of the single “Beside You,” which he described as a “feel-good summer anthem.” He said, “It’s a bit of a celebration, an upbeat banger about finally being the one you’ve been searching for your whole life.”
“Who We Used to Be” is Blunt’s first studio album since 2019’s “Once Upon a Mind,” which featured the heartfelt ballad “Monsters” written for his father, who was ill with stage four chronic kidney disease. Earlier this year, American Idol season 21 winner Iam Tongi dedicated a performance of “Monsters” to his late father, and Blunt appeared on the show’s season finale to perform the song with Tongi.
“Beside You” is a three-minute-long upbeat dance song produced by The Six, a Manchester, England-based collective. It is accompanied by a visualizer that showcases the moving image of a young boy playing in a field. The album also includes tracks titled “Some Kind Of Beautiful” and “Last Dance.” Blunt collaborated with several prolific producers for the new album, including Jonny Coffer, Red Triangle, Jack & Coke, and Steve Robson.
Blunt recently made headlines when he performed “Monsters” alongside American Idol Season 21 winner Iam Tongi on the show’s finale. The new record follows Blunt’s recent greatest hits collection, “The Stars Beneath My Feet,” which went Gold and sold over 100,000 copies.
