Jhené Aiko’s “Souled Out: 10th Anniversary Edition” Album Download ZIP & MP3 Free Files

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Jhené Aiko’s breakthrough album “Souled Out”, the project will be available on colored vinyl for the first time.

The reissue of the album will be a 2LP set in opaque blue lagoon color and will feature the original Deluxe tracklist.

This release will include two bonus tracks that were previously only available on streaming platforms: “You vs. Them (Acoustic)” and “Beautiful Ruin.”

Released in 2014, “Souled Out” showcased Aiko’s talent for writing emotionally transparent lyrics and creating rich sonic atmospheres. It established Aiko as a defining alt R&B stylist of her era.

The album, produced by No I.D., features dreamy and ethereal soundscapes, creating a dazed and meditative listening experience. Aiko‘s gentle, yearning soprano voice conveys tales of fractured love and personal catharsis.

The album was a commercial success, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 charts and selling 70,000 units. It still sounds fresh today and received a gold certification in 2020, solidifying its impact in the R&B genre.

About Artist:

Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo, born on March 16, 1988, is an American R&B singer-songwriter and rapper from Los Angeles, California. In 2002, she began her music career as a backing vocalist and music video performer for the R&B group B2K. She was signed by their record label, The Ultimate Group, that same year and was promoted as the “cousin” of B2K member Lil’ Fizz to build her own fan base, even though they are not related. Her debut album, initially scheduled for release in 2003 by the label with Epic Records, was put on hold as Aiko chose to focus on her education instead.

In March 2011, Aiko returned to music with the release of her first full-length project, a mixtape called Sailing Soul(s). Later that year, in December, she signed a recording contract with producer No I.D.’s record label ARTium Recordings, which is an imprint of Def Jam Recordings. She achieved mainstream success when she collaborated with Lil Wayne on Big Sean’s 2013 single “Beware”, her first top 40 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In November of that year, she released her debut extended play (EP) Sail Out, featuring the singles “3:16AM”, “Bed Peace” (featuring Childish Gambino), and “The Worst”—the last of which received quintuple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
