Kacey Musgraves’ most recent album, “Deeper Well,” was released in March, and she has announced an extended version called “Deeper Into the Well,” which will be available on August 2. This expanded version features seven additional tracks, and she has already released one of the new songs, “Irish Goodbye,” on July 26. The song “Irish Goodbye” is about a person who struggles to forgive their ex-boyfriend for leaving without saying goodbye.

Some of the key tracks from the original “Deeper Well” album included the title single, “Too Good to Be True,” and “The Architect.” Kacey Musgraves, along with Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, produced the album, which was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York.

“Deeper Well” is a follow-up album to Musgraves’ 2021 release “Star-Crossed.” One of the standout tracks from “Star-Crossed,” a duet with Zach Bryan called “I Remember Everything,” won a Grammy for best country song by a pair or group and reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Kacey Musgraves began her Deeper Well World Tour in April, starting in Dublin, Ireland and continuing through December, including two performances at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

In an Instagram post, she announced the extended version of “Deeper Well,” saying, “We’re going deeper. The extended version of Deeper Well includes 7 new songs and it’s out on August 2nd.”
