Kevin Abstract is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Corpus Christi, Texas. He released his debut album, MTV1987, in 2014, which was critically acclaimed. He followed it up with “American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story” in 2016 and “Arizona Baby” in 2019.
Kevin had a difficult childhood. He never met his father and was not close to his mother, whom he did not even know the profession. He left home at 15 and moved to Georgia to live with his sister. Many believe his family’s religious beliefs played a part in his decision to leave.
