Kevin Abstract returns with his latest track “Blanket”. The song takes him in a new direction.
It has been almost a year since Kevin Abstract and BROCKHAMPTON parted ways after releasing their album, The Family.
Their separation was a sad and regrettable end to a group that was a valuable asset to the hip-hop community. BROCKHAMPTON will always have a special place in our hearts for their amazing talent. Kevin Abstract, who was a part of BROCKHAMPTON, has not released any new music since 2022.
His latest release was a single called “SIERRA NIGHTS” with Ryan Beatty in 2021. After that, he released a single in 2022 titled “DEAR MISS HOLLOWAY” with easy life. He then dropped a two-pack with Baird called “Easy v2,” which included two songs: “Easy v2” and “Easy On Them Turns,” with the latter being a Baird-only cut.
However, Kevin has finally released a new track called “Blanket,” which is a departure from his usual style. The song is less than two minutes long, with a chorus that leads into a very short verse. Additionally, it comes with an intriguing video of Kevin and imaginary creatures as a meteor approaches Earth. Although there is no word yet on the name or release date, an album is also in the works.
