Lil Durk has been promoting his upcoming album with the release of a new single called “Turn Up a Notch.” The track, debuted on Wednesday (September 25), features the Chicago rap star rapping over skittering, guitar-plucking production from Southside and Smatt Sertified.
In the song, Lil Durk reflects on his journey to success, rapping defiantly about overcoming challenges and doubters. The accompanying video, directed by Jerry Production, shows Lil Durk enjoying the rewards of his hard-fought success and includes appearances from Sexyy Red and Hunxho.
“Turn Up a Notch” seems to be the latest single from Lil Durk’s upcoming album Love Songs 4 the Streets 3, which he’s been teasing since the beginning of the year.
In January, he announced that the project was finished. He has also shared two other songs from the album: “Went Hollywood For a Year” and “Old Days,” the latter of which addresses his past drug addiction.
Love Songs 4 the Streets 3 will be the sequel to 2019’s Love Songs 4 the Streets 2 and will be Lil Durk’s first full-length release since last year’s Almost Healed.
