Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz’s “Welcome 2 Collegrove” Album Download Leak MP3 ZIP Files
2 Chainz and Lil Wayne will release their upcoming collaborative studio album Welcome 2 Collegrove on November 17, 2023, through Def Jam Recordings. The album title is a combination of 2 Chainz’s and Lil Wayne’s hometowns, College Park, Georgia, and Hollygrove, Louisiana, respectively.
The album is a follow-up to their first collaborative album, ColleGrove, which was released in 2016. The duo has been friends and collaborators for almost two decades, starting in 2007 when Wayne was featured on Playaz Circle’s “Duffle Bag Boy.” Their other collaborations include the RIAA-certified platinum tracks “Rich As F__k” and Juicy J’s strip club anthem “Bandz a Make Her Dance.”
The album will feature a guest appearance from Benny the Butcher and will be released on the same day as Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 (2023), which was later pushed back to December 8 to make way for Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz’s album.
The album’s lead single, “Presha,” produced by Bangladesh, was released on October 19, 2023. On October 27, during an episode of Young Money Radio on Apple Music, the pair debuted two new songs in “Long Story Short” and “Oprah and Gayle,” both of which are confirmed to appear on the album.
In addition to the upcoming album, Lil Wayne recently released his mixtape Tha Fix Before Tha VI via Young Money Records/Republic Records. The mixtape features ten tracks and offers a mix of club bangers, alternative ways, and surprise genre switch-ups like on “Tuxedo.” The lead track, “To The Bank,” features a rapid-fire delivery from Wayne, while “Act Up,” featuring Jon Batiste, blends R&B and hip-hop. The mixtape also features “Kat Food,” the single he shared earlier this month. The track’s ominous production underlines Wayne’s instantly recognizable delivery.
