The Swedish indie-pop band Little Dragon has recently released a new single titled “Slugs Of Love.” This marks their first release since last year’s Opening The Door EP. Little Dragon has shared an interesting fact in a statement, questioning if the audience knew about the sensual and acrobatic dance performed by Leopard Slugs. It is an exchange between two individuals with the same reproduction systems.
Little Dragon’s “Slugs Of Love” is the latest release following their 2022 EP “Opening The Door,” which included three tracks, including the single “Frisco” and a collaboration with JID. The band’s most recent full-length album, “New Me, Same Us,” was released in 2020 under the Ninja Tune label.
The Swedish band stated that their new album results from exploring various collaboration and communication methods. They aimed to break patterns and create new ones by nurturing their ability to experiment curiously with different musical instruments, such as pressing keys, banging on things with varying intensity, strumming strings, recording sounds, and exploring the limits of sound manipulation.
