LOVEBITES’ “Memorial for the Warrior Souls” Album Download ZIP & MP3 Free Files
Lovebites, a Japanese power metal act, has announced the release of “Memorial For The Warrior Souls,” a live Blu-ray/2DVD/2CD set featuring a live show from Hitomi Memorial Hall. The release date is set for August 28 via Victor.
The limited edition of the set will include a re-recorded edition of the band’s debut EP, titled Lovebites EP II.
The latest full-length album “Judgement Day,” which ranked at position #5 on the Oricon weekly chart, features all songs that were created after bassist Fami joined the band. Therefore, Lovebites EP II is considered the first work by the current lineup. The EP serves as a follow-up to the band’s 2017 debut “The Lovebites EP,” and it symbolizes the band’s evolution. The cover art of Lovebites EP II will feature a white leather jacket, reflecting the band’s signature color, adorned with gold studs and band logo patch.
The band created five completely new songs for Lovebites EP II by revisiting their 2017 debut and capturing the initial magic. The limited edition A of the release comes with the “Re-Lovebites EP,” a 4-song CD re-recorded from The Lovebites EP. Additionally, editions B and C include a Blu-ray and DVD, respectively, consisting of a music video for the lead track and a making-of video showing the filming of the music video.
“Memorial For The Warrior Souls” is a complete recording of the live performance at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall in Tokyo on September 24, during the Judgement Day Tour in 2023. The live audio has been mixed by Mikko Karmila and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studio. The release also includes a one-hour documentary following the band as they tour seven cities: Fukuoka, Sendai, Sapporo, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, and Yokohama.

About Artist:
In 2016, Miho and Haruna, who had previously been members of Destrose, created the Japanese heavy metal band Lovebites. At the moment, Asami sings, Fami plays bass, Midori and Miyako play guitar, and Haruna plays drums. Following their signing to Victor Entertainment, the group released The Lovebites EP and Awakening from Abyss, their debut EP and album, respectively, in 2017. At the end of the year, they made their first international performance appearance. Lovebites received the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band that year and swiftly gained international recognition with the release of Battle Against Damnation, their EP and LP from 2018. Bassist Miho quit the band in August 2021 after the releases of Electric Pentagram (2020) and Glory, Glory, to the World (2021). Following a year-long break, Lovebites reformed with Fami on bass, and in February 2023 they released their fourth album, Judgement Day. It is their best-charting single to date, peaking at number five on the Billboard Japan and Oricon charts.
