Madison Beer, Silence Between Songs Album Download MP3 ZIP File

Madison Beer had already submitted her sophomore album to her label when she called her producer Leroy Clampitt in a panic. She informed him that she wanted to change the entire project. This was almost a year ago, long before “Silence Between Songs” was released today on Epic Records. The 14-song collection is inspired by psychedelic rock and dream pop.

When Beer and Clampitt received the first test pressings of the set, they listened to the album in full. Afterward, Beer went to bed. However, she woke up in the middle of the night and realized that the album was not good enough. This led her to return to the studio, determined to make it better.

Before he picked up Beer’s call, Clampitt had spent the night at a concert with the test pressings hidden away in his bag. “I felt really weird carrying around like a bunch of vinyl, but I got home and I took a photo and sent it to her like ‘Yo, look what I just got!’ and that’s when she told me she needed to talk,” he remembers. “She felt so strongly about it and I trusted her; if she doesn’t think it’s right then we go back to the drawing board. We regained the idea together — went through what a new version might look like, what was working and what wasn’t working.”

Beer is grateful for the visceral feeling that drove her to rearrange the roots of her album. She recognizes that there is no distinct method to decipher intuition from insecurity. However, as a budding teenage pop star, she had produced music alongside a rotating list of label-picked songwriters and producers. As such, Beer’s desire for a long-time creative partner like Clampitt, who is a songwriter, instrumentalist and has a killer knack for guitar, was much needed.

 

Madison Elle Beer is an American singer who was born in New York. She started posting cover songs on YouTube in early 2012. Beer came into the spotlight when Justin Bieber shared one of her covers, which led to her gaining significant media attention. Her debut single, “Melodies,” was released in 2013. In 2018, Beer released her first EP, As She Pleases.
