Maude Latour started writing music as a teenager and is now preparing to release her debut album “Sugar Water.” She has strong connections to Wisconsin, with two grandparents from Oshkosh and a mother who grew up in the state. She has fond memories of spending summers embracing Wisconsin culture before making her Summerfest debut in 2024.
Latour gained attention four years ago when a video of her singing her song “One More Weekend” went viral on TikTok, receiving over 500,000 views and thousands of likes. During the pandemic, she regularly shared her daily life and music online, filming music videos in dorm rooms and posting videos of herself in front of the piano where she wrote and produced her songs.
Her candid songwriting about her evolving identity and sexuality has garnered a devoted fan base. Alongside her studies at Columbia University, she has signed a record deal with Warner Records. With new singles like “Cursed Romantics,” “Too Slow,” and “Comedown,” she has evolved her music to reflect the bittersweet nostalgia of her mid-20s.
On June 27, she debuted at Summerfest, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her career.
