NBA YoungBoy has just released a new single and music video called ‘Testimony’.
The surprise release comes after his successful ‘Richest Opp’ mixtape which debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200 chart in May. With this achievement, YoungBoy Never Broke Again became the third most successful rap artist in terms of top-10 releases. The music video was directed by Karltin Bankz.
NBA Youngboy, a rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a controversial figure in the rap industry. People either love his style or they don’t, there is no middle ground. Many criticize him for his repetitive music and production choices.
However, the biggest complaint people have is how often he releases new music. In 2023, he has already released three albums, each with a substantial number of tracks. His first album of the year, “I Rest My Case,” had 19 tracks, followed by “Don’t Try This At Home,” with a whopping 33 songs released three months later. His latest album, “Richest Opp,” contained 17 tracks.
Moreover, he has released a new single with an accompanying music video, which is already number five on YouTube’s music trending list and has been played over 685,000 times. While his fans are showing their support for his latest single, others still criticize him for his prolific output.
