Nina Nesbitt, born on 11 July 1994, is a Scottish singer and songwriter. She gained recognition with her single “Stay Out,” which reached No. 21 on the UK Singles Chart in April 2013, and No. 11 on the Scottish Singles Chart. Following a chance encounter with Ed Sheeran at a radio gig, her second EP, The Apple Tree, was released in April 2012 and peaked at No. 6 on the iTunes download charts. Her debut studio album, Peroxide, was released on 17 February 2014 and debuted at No. 1 in Scotland.
Nesbitt‘s upcoming album, Mountain Music, is set to be released on Sept. 27 and will feature singles like “Mansion,” “I’m Coming Home,” “Pages,” and “On The Run.” This album will be released under her independent record label Apple Tree Records and represents a new musical era for Nesbitt. The album was produced by Peter Miles at his Middle Farm Studio in South West London.
Nina Nesbitt has announced a UK Headline Tour in October following the release of her new single “Mansion” from her upcoming album. This tour follows her previous tour as a special guest to Rolling Stones’ Stevie Nicks and supports her fourth album, Mountain Music. In an Instagram post, Nesbitt expressed her excitement for the album, stating, “This is by far my favourite piece of work I’ve created yet. I can’t wait for you all to hear it. ‘Mountain Music’ held my hand through some of my hardest moments and I really hope it can hold yours too.”
