Northlane‘s “Mirror’s Edge” EP/Album Download ZIP MP3 Files
Australian heavy metal band, NORTHLANE, announced their new EP, “Mirror’s Edge”, which will be released on April 12. The EP includes the new single “Miasma”, featuring Winston McCall from PARKWAY DRIVE.
“Miasma” is a powerful and complex song that showcases NORTHLANE’s early heavy sound. The song is fueled by frustration, which has led to an intense and commanding performance by McCall. This collaboration with McCall is significant for NORTHLANE because PARKWAY DRIVE has been a major inspiration for them over the years.
The EP was recorded in August this year with producer Will Putney, and it includes guest appearances from Ian Kenny (KARNIVOOL, BIRDS OF TOKYO) and their former bass player Brendon Padjasek.
The EP reflects a nostalgic journey through all the colors on their sonic palette, and it is full of NORTHLANE’s most vivid colors and textures. The EP is about reflecting on the past and finding hope in what lies beyond the mirror’s edge.
Frontman Marcus Bridge is hopeful that “Mirror’s Edge” will be the coda on this part of his personal life, so much of which he has shared in the last couple of NORTHLANE releases.
