Nourished by Time‘s “Catching Chickens” EP/Album Download Zip Mp3 Files
Baltimore musician Nourished By Time has recently signed to XL Recordings and announced the release of his new EP, ‘Catching Chickens’, which will come out on March 22nd.
The five-track EP was written in his home studio and took two years to make. It draws inspiration from a scene in the movie Rocky II where the protagonist is tested for agility and endurance by chasing and catching chickens.
Nourished By Time’s debut album ‘Erotic Probiotic 2‘ was released last year and received critical acclaim. The musician, who is the brainchild of Baltimore singer-songwriter Marcus Brown, is known for his genre-bending style. The album produced the song “Daddy”, which was one of Exclaim!’s favourite songs of 2023.
Nourished By Time has released the lead single from his new EP, ‘Hand On Me‘, along with a music video directed by the artist himself. The song is a retro-futuristic delirium that explores the corrosive nature of love and notoriety. The video features a surrealist commentary on celebrity culture and is “about being reminded that you’re an angel by other angels”.
