Veteran Swedish Death Metal band PAGANIZER has just signed a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of a new EP that will serve as a prelude to a new album for 2025. The new work, titled “Forest of Shub Niggurath,” has been revealed along with a first advance single, cover artwork, and track list.
“Forest of Shub Niggurath” will be released on September 10th through Xtreem Music on CD and Digital formats.
PAGANIZER is a Death Metal band from Sweden that was formed from the ashes of TERMINAL GRIP, the first band of Rogga Johansson. PAGANIZER recorded its first demo, “Stormfire,” in 1998 and released their debut album a year later.
Over the last 26 years, PAGANIZER has built a reputation as one of the most solid, prolific, and representative Death Metal bands in Sweden. The band remains loyal to its bone-crushing style and has returned to Xtreem Music, where they previously released their 3rd album “Murder Death Kill” (2003) and “No Divine Rapture” (2004). Now, PAGANIZER is set to release a brand new 6-song EP, “Forest of Shub Niggurath,” as a preview of their next album in 2025, also through Xtreem Music.
Tracklist:

About Artist:
Paganizer is a Swedish death metal band known for playing classic Swedish style metal, similar to Grave and Dismember. The band was initially formed by Johansson, Carlsson, and Jocke in 1998 after the departure of Terminal Grip in 1997.
In early 2005, it was announced that Paganizer had disbanded; however, the band was soon reactivated with the lineup of Johansson, Fiebig, and Halvarsson. Many members, including Rogga, are also involved in the band Ribspreader.
On October 28, 2008, Paganizer signed with Cyclone Empire Records and released their album “Scandinavian Warmachine” on April 17, 2009. Paganizer’s long-awaited last album, “Carnage Junkie,” was finally released via Vic Records in November 2009.
