Polo G‘s ”Hood Poet“ Album Download Leak ZIP MP3 Files Free
It has been almost two years since Polo G released a solo album. He previously put out Hall of Fame 2.0, a 34-song, one-and-a-half-hour effort that may be too long for most listeners to handle. Despite being considered one of the best modern rappers, he remains an unpredictable artist. Nonetheless, he has almost 24 million monthly Spotify listeners, and his top five songs have received billions of plays.
Polo G is a playable character in NBA 2K22, which is uncommon for most rappers. Despite living an exciting celebrity lifestyle, some believe he has not yet reached his full potential. However, his next release is rumored to be titled Hood Poet, and it could prove his doubters wrong.
Hood Poet is Polo G’s upcoming fourth studio album. The album is expected to be released on August 2, 2024, as listed on Apple Music and seemingly confirmed by Bartlett in a TMZ interview. It is confirmed to feature the singles “Distraction“, “Barely Holdin’ On” and “Sorrys & Ferraris”.
On May 27, 2022, Polo G announced the first single “Distraction” with a trailer featuring YouTuber Kai Cenat. “Distraction” was released on June 3, 2022, and debuted at number 39 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also confirmed that his upcoming album would feature production entirely from Southside.
In August 2023, Polo G teased the album’s release by setting up posters containing lyrics with the album’s title Hood Poet under each one. On August 15, 2023, he officially announced the album’s release, along with a single called “Barely Holdin’ On.” The album was set to release on September 15, 2023, and he also launched a 24-hour live stream to promote it. The album’s second single “Barely Holdin’ On” was released on August 18, 2023, and peaked at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100.
On the day he released “Barely Holdin’ On,” Polo G announced that he was considering retirement from music after the album’s release. However, later that month, he was arrested, which caused him to postpone the release of the album until further notice. Despite this, his planned tour dates were not affected by the charges.
