Blink-182’s “FELL IN LOVE” Leak MP3 Download
Blink-182’s new song “Fell in Love” has the band reminiscing about the early days of a doomed relationship.
The song is a jangly alterna-pop with bright guitars and effervescent synths. Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus share vocal duties, remembering the exciting but naive moments in the early stages of love, only to be hit with the reality of a relationship’s end. The lyrics state “It’s fucking with my head, now we can never pretend, we can only be friends, remember the time, we fell in love.”
One More Time, the band’s upcoming album, will mark the first LP from Blink-182’s classic lineup in 12 years. The LP will include previously released songs such as “Edging,” “One More Time,” “More Than You Know,” and “Dance With Me,” which was intended as a love letter to the Ramones, one of Blink’s biggest influences. The album is set to arrive on Oct. 20.
Blink-182 recorded most of One More Time during their lengthy reunion tour this year. The group is currently on a European and U.K. run, with additional tour dates scheduled in Australia, New Zealand, Peru, and Mexico for 2024. Blink-182’s classic lineup includes DeLonge, Hoppus, and Travis Barker, who have not released an album together since 2011’s Neighborhoods.
In 2015, DeLonge left the band, and Blink-182 released two albums with Matt Skiba, 2016’s California and 2019’s Nine. Barker briefly interrupted the tour last month to be with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, as she recovered from emergency fetal surgery.
