Rising pop artist Spencer Sutherland has announced his sophomore album, “The Drama,” which is set for release on October 4th. The album is a 3-act modern rock opera featuring arena anthems and Spencer‘s signature glam rock vintage flair. It takes listeners through the excitement, heartbreak, and resilience that come with pursuing dreams.
The album’s first track, “Welcome To The Show!”, captures the excitement of starting a journey and chasing a dream. The second track, “A Tragedy!”, portrays heartbreak, loss, and demotivation. The third song, “God Save The Dream!”, symbolizes reigniting the love and determination to never give up. The album is based on the idea that no one can take your dream from you, but you have to learn that yourself, through “The Drama.”
Spencer describes his upcoming album as “Opera Pop Rock.” He mentions that the rock ‘n’ roll drive mixed with glamorized, over-the-top lyrics makes you feel confident. He likens experiencing the album to watching a movie of your life, where you laugh and cry, as he believes life is incomplete without a little drama.
Following his viral 2024 hit, “Alive,” and the deluxe version of his debut album, “In His Mania,” Spencer is set to release “The Drama” this fall. He is known for his soulful vocals and timeless rock ‘n’ roll musical stylings. Spencer is also gearing up for an early 2025 tour throughout the EU/UK, with additional shows in Amsterdam and Cologne, and upgraded venues throughout Germany and England due to popular demand.
