Taylor Swift has announced the release of a digital version of her album The Tortured Poets Department with a bonus track “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys” (First Draft Phone Memo). The digital album and bonus track will be available for purchase for 24 hours at a price of $4.99, until 11:59 a.m. ET on Sunday, August 4th.
Earlier in May, she unveiled three limited versions of the album featuring First Draft Phone Memos of “The Black Dog,” “Cassandra,” and “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?”. These versions showed listeners how the songs sounded midway through Swift’s writing process.
This release comes after Tortured Poets spent 12 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. It marks a career-best for Swift, breaking past records set by her previous albums.
Currently on her Eras Tour, Swift is performing in Europe and will continue with shows in Vienna and London. After the European leg, she will return to the U.S. and Canada for final performances in November and December.
